Chalk board has come such a long way since I was at school. I vividly remember the screeching sound of chalk against the framed green board on the classroom wall. Although I am sure it was never intended to be a feature but rather an educational tool, the use of chalkboard paint has certainly found its way into our homes and has turned into a decorating phenomena.
Whether used in the office for jotting down notes; or a feature wall in the kitchen to help with planning for next week’s menu, the versatility is without bounds!
With chalk board paint a fictitious headboard can be created on a bedroom wall or it can portray a relaxed atmosphere in a luxurious man cave.
Why not be brave and try it on flooring or furniture?
Chalk board paint in the bathroom? Who said it was forbidden?
So this week I challenge you – set yourself a task and paint with chalk board paint very inappropriately!
Cheerio ’til next time!
