This large family home reflected that lovely 90’s look including gold framed showers, peach toned tiles and a wobbly toilet to boot. The ensuite bathroom could not fit 2 people at the same time and the position of the toilet did not contribute to comfortable moments on the throne. The same was to be said for the walk-in wardrobe – it had plenty of storage, but the U-shaped layout wasn’t very practical. We decided to remove the wall between the walk-in robe and ensuite bathroom and turn the entire area into a large bathroom. We created built-in wardrobe in the bathroom cavity with an access door from the bedroom. For additional storage, we moved the wall between the rumpus and bedroom, to create enough space for built-in wardrobes. Shaker style door on the wardrobes completed the modern country look.
